Hello from our side!
Thank you for visiting our profile. It is not easy to summarise a personality in a few lines. We can only say that our daughter is gentle and soft all the while remaining the spirited individual she is. She has a warm and understanding demeanour with a willingness to adapt to new challenges and experiences in life. Coming from a closely knit and nurturing family, she pours genuine love and affection into all her relationships and friendships.
She has a proven record in academics and has the right temperament and passion for research and teaching. She loves interacting with and guiding young minds and in turn also learning from them. She has graduated with distinction in English Literature from Madras Christian College. She did her MA in English from Kings College London and passed with honours. She taught English Literature in a reputed school for ISC exam going students. Currently, she has taken a break to apply for a PhD, preferably in UK (keeping her options open in other countries as well).
She is a person with varied interests in literature, art and culture. She loves spending time in galleries and museums. Having grown up in a valley surrounded by beautiful hillocks, she loves being in nature and is fond of long walks, nature trails, minor hikes and travelling. She has a passion for world/art/ non-commercial cinema and loves discussing movies, stand-up comedy and TV series (this can sometimes be tedious to the listener!). She absolutely adores our dogs Moti and Zara but can accept a partner who is not open to having dogs/pets. She has a wonderful sense of humour though it can be subtle at times.
My daughter is a teaching / academician with a Master's degree currently working in private sector in Kancheepuram. We come from an upper middle class, nuclear family background with traditional values.
People describe her as intelligent, supportive, family oriented, friendly and loving.
Her hobbies and interests are cooking, movies, listening to music, traveling and pets.
